ex masa chef opens up this lil gem in the east village which had a lil funky smell when i first walked in but we sat we talked we ordered an amazing selection of food. 2 notables. UNI RISOTTO! doesn't need much more review than its done right and its done delicious. KUMAMOTO'S WITH CAVIAR. these days, the kumamoto's sold on the east coast are synonymous with flimsy meatless slabs of salty ocean glop...however, these were dense, thick, meaty, semi briny bites of awesomeness....which went perfectly with that not too salty caviar....it was an easy choice to get ANOTHER plate!
