is monday date night in NYC?  it's always been a great night out with only manhattanites cruising the city to get just a bit tipsy.  but when you're offering free cognac tasting tickets...how is everyone in the world busy?  6pm is early.  but what happened to 7pm fashionably late?  and any event that's a tasting is just a big hoard of people holding back getting sloshed.  cuz "u dont have to finish it u can pour it out" means that "you have to drink the first 3 on an empty stomach before even wanting to pour anything out".  that asian french lady with the scarf around her neck looking like some porn fantasy air stewardess had me sold with her cognac....more so than the louis 13 that i fittingly took down in 2 gulps.  regardless....henessey gives you an ulcer.  im convinced.  if it's a gilt promo. does that mean you're in a room with "pikers?"  and who can tell these days.  who really cares.  relax connors.
