i have a story to tell...before i forget it.  and before i embark on another trip with these foolios...hopefully this hilarity will be captured properly...if not...we'll just have to do it again...

so every year, amanda organizes a farm dinner - "Outstanding in the field is a is a roving culinary adventure – literally a restaurant without walls.  It's Mission re-connect diners to the land and the origins of their food, and to honor the local farmers and food artisans who cultivate it.  and being a touring farm dinner, it becomes a destination weekend excursion...this year being sugarbush vermont at ploughgate creamery for the dairy, for the butter.  it's over five hours to drive there from nyc so everyone stayed in friday night for a 6am meeting time to drive out.

the group spent friday night at home trying to be good.  and as it was an excursion for food, all the viles and baggies were left behind.  except when everyone got in the car at 615am...there seemed to be a shriek in unison "i left it on the table."  well, the weekend shifted to wine....and more wine.  and combined that with vermonts natural bounty....cheese, dairy, and mushrooms.   hiking and river trekking followed with pictures of shrooms.  shrooms were uploaded to shrooming.net to check its viability for hallucinogenic effects.  frogs were considered.  but we just turned to more wine.  and before we knew it, after some cliff diving, river trekking, wine drinking, barbecuing...and more breakfast drinking...the long awaited sunday farm dinner was upon us.  we started drinking so early in the day, that by the time dinner started amidst a long table of quiet and orderly foodies enjoying a beautiful sunny day in the field...we got rowdy and gradually harassed the server on obtaining at least some weed.  and she led us to the butter stand.  and the butter stand led us to the mad taco in town.
the mad taco is a takeout taco joint in a shopping mall adjacent to the supermarket we visited the previous day.  before pulling up to the taco joint we had brain stormed on how this would go down to approach the mad taco in search of extra curricular's.  the consensus was for the ladies to ease into the conversation, so we stormed in...and if u walked through the taco takeout, there was a tiny bar....R didn't even sit down...and just said to the bartender....louder than normal speaking voice...we were told u could get drugs.   acid weed coke shrooms and not in that order....the bartender, taken aback...."this is definitely not the place for that....but you can ask him" pointing at the patron at the bar....a young zz top bearded fellow in cargo paints covered with paint stains and a tank top.  we went down a rowdy conversation on how ridiculous we were but quite insistent and yet unflappable while ordering shots...buying mad taco tank tops and continuing to converse with the crowd.  zz top left the bar and i had a great idea that he might still be out in the parking lot waiting for a less conspicuous place to do some business so i advised the women to head into the parking and loiter waiting to be approached while we closed out the tab.  when we left, we found the women had befriended some random women in the parking lot ...also friends with marisa...the owner of the farm....the town slut...hahahaa..
