very smart of the chinese tuxedo team to do a chinatown in the hudson with rameet.  a bit obnoxious with the 800 dollar a night price tag (or 140 dollar day party) for not enough food but all you can drink dinner in a yoga barn studio...but with a small 50 person private party essentially...it just turned into an australian rave...in robes...

i dropped off amanda in the dutchess....only to rush back because jason was in town...only to have  a night of soju and attend a house party of 25 year olds...just like old times...

u really win out when you get to use the sunken meadow 10 dollar parking ticket twice in one day.  one trip for lunch and beers.  one more trip for tito's and jay chou.  not too shabby.

i spend hours watching youtube pizza shows about connecticut pizza...but its never been enough to lure me to the new haven to eat it.   but driving home from newport, new haven is a the perfect pit stop for a pie...

wowzers.  get the clam pizza.  half with cheese (for the contrast)...half without.   dont listen to the trip advisor reviews about the homemade sausage pie.  just pales in comparison to the clam pizza.  thats what theyre known for...freshly shucked clams on a pizza with garlic and olive oil.  fresh, robust and simple.  thats all u need.

wash it all down with an italian ice.

voila.

america.

do you guys blindly trust your gps or do you actually look at the route and understand the route given before embarking on your journey?  the gps eventually recalibrates...but relying on faulty telecom may lead you to wrong way pointing arrows, wrong turns, delayed turns, and stumbling upon an unusual place...
