!!!....my peers always seem to have "lists" of restaurants they want to try.  yet i always seem to never have a list.  and i've realized, if i see something and i want to try it.  i'll go that night.  why are we going to wait until friday or some far off date to eat dinner when i need to eat tonight anyways?  and hence the lists are short and quickly crossed off. and even though eating late defeats the purpose of working out, i seem to never have a problem with it.  and so 915 @ takashi on a friday night....IM IN!  and when i go there....i immediately fell in love.  those small bar type japanese grill places.  clean/pristine with high quality meat. perfectly small portions and simultaneously well priced (for nYC standards).  kalbi awesome.  tendon stew delicious. even the sapporo draft tasted colder and sweeter.  smelling like kalbi is a problem but apparently not for bingo, who ended up sniffing her scarf all night.  GROSS!

and then we got drinks @ 50 commerce.  the table next to us got cookies.  so i wanted cookies!  we met randoms seated at the bar and apparently i had an asian jew epiphany.  why was i talking about shmaltz again?
