the price was expected.  and in a slue of midtown east japanese fine dining, who knows whats good and whats worth it.  and with the relatively minimal exposure i have to japanese culture and food,  "i have you so you pick japanese from now on".  the place was good.  i'd go back.  rice tasty.  duck app good.  i love the meatball.  "chinese nacho" "finger wag" "purse your lips roll your eyes" "i like that you know how to order" - ordering is an artform.  u really need to read behind the menu to figure out what to order and not come with a game plan.  feel out your opponent and not mess up the $$$$ meal with fried foods that a diner could make.
"yes. we're all lambdas"
"imagine living across the street to that hotel with the blue hue shining through your window every night?"
"we were talking about how gay things are before you came"
"yes, lets please emphatically argue about ramen the entire night"
"arang...AGAIN?"
