a new potbelly opened up by work. finally tried it. all american sandwich shop feel. expedited customizable sandwiches in an open spaced wooden decor layout. guitarist singing while you wait or dine and all foods come with hand written signs of "grab this" "try that" of cookies, snacks, malts, shakes. anything that resembles an american summer ball park feel. the difference maker here, was the staff. the staff was all american. good english speaking, american cultured staff. friendly and fast. that kind of service is a vast difference between the immigrant workers that produce the same quality and service, but the delivery is just different. subway is essentially the same thing, but why does it taste and feel so much different? do local natives have a better grasp at making rustic malts with chunks of ice cream? rather than the contrived and learned motions of immigrants who make malts just as well?
hmmm....
