ounce

ounce is a speakeasy in the heart of taipei.  it's a coffee joint store front with a dim light cocktail bar in the back.  two abc partners poached a speakeasy manager in boston and are building out this exclusive speak easy concept sticking to a no menu, drinks made to order type place that's currently filled with a foreign staff and an entirely english speaking crowd.  it's nice.  it's not cheap.  make sure you try a thai tini.  but in the end, just go for gin martini with a twist.
