KOI PALACE

i dont know why i don't have any pictures of the food, probably because i was too busy eating.  but the food was awesome.  just like hong kong.  the first dish that came out was the crispy roast pork.  once i took the first bite, i knew this place was legit.  everything else that followed could've just been mediocre, but because the pork was so good, it made the rest of the dishes that much better.

the place is in daly city.  a 30 min drive from downtown SF.  you pull into the parking lot and see this huge 6000 square feet restaurant that looks like it's been extended 2 or 3 times to accomodate it's massive customer base that drives in from an hour or two radius filled with mostly chinese people.  people call in to leave a number or come early to take a number.  not exactly sure how the system works but we had klout.  brian came. knew someone there...and got us a table.  gangsta.
