luu's baguette. 26 & lex.

"i got luu's for lunch.  omg i'm so excited.  the people are so nice and friendly.  i even think that girl w dyed hair in the back might be pretty cute.  and it's reasonably priced.  and really clean.   the lady even asked me to test my mango smoothie to see if it was sweet enough"

really good.  crusty bread.  nice bbq pork and pickled vege filling.  the added egg is a bonus.  a bit pricier than it's chinatown counterpart (+$2) but proximity choices make the markup reasonable.  it's not just no complaints from this joint, but the quality of the sandwich is undeniable.  it's much better than a greasy sandwich and dirty store from baoguette down the street.  it also reminds me that there's no reason to "gourmet" simple things.  do the sandwich right and it's good the way it should be.  (as opposed to num pang -unnecessary uptrend porkbelly banh mi.  ~$8).
