my sis and i had it all planned out. i'd meet her in queens by 1130am. we'd go food shopping. head to the airport to pick up mom. go home cook for dad's bday. head to costco. come home and wait for guests. that all changed when mom went to the airport without her passport. and so she not coming back till next week. i went home sick. i too don't have my passport. and it seems i can't fly tomorrow either. no one's surprised.
