THE AMAZING RACE

The plight of any expat in asia is the "i'm cooler than everyone here" mentality.  the enigma of maintaining humble for an 'american born asian' is twice as hard due to unavoidable cultural knowledge/attachment compounded with reverse racism by locals (which i'll explain some other time - for now just envision affirmative action backlash).  

So alice asked me to be her partner to try out for 'The Amazing Race' Asia.  we'd give more plot line, more panache, more drama, more coherence and because in a nutshell....


"We're just born better"  (as coined by miss gracekyulee)


and so to practice my globe trekking....i just bought my ticket to Taipei, LA, San Diego (vegas, NY tba).  Around the world in 4 days.
