another rite of passage in the chin/budiman family is KUEY TEOW. if u don't like it, u're gonna have a hard time adapting. not only do you have to like to eat it, u have to like to talk about it....talk about previous comparison of kuey teow while u're eating kuey teow regardless of how many times u've eaten at that specific kuey teo establishment before. and regardless of how full you are, and whether u order it or not, u MUST, after the first bowl/plate of kuey teow, contemplate ordering a 2nd order.
in jakarta, for 80% of the people complain daily about
coughing and wheezing due to the bad pollution (source: the cousin). a
city with such horrendous health hazards that seem not to affect
mortality rate...the irony is that, when i come here for a weekend
getaway, i find it to be a detoxing and relaxing weekend. exercise,
facials, zero alcohol and plenty of sleep. i almost fell asleep though andy lau's new movie.....romance of the 3 kingdoms: resurrection of the dragon.
