lost in translation

it just so happened that a certain sequence of miscommunication led to tickets to the yankees game.  i drove and hit no traffic.  the weather couldn't have been more perfect for my shorts and hoodie combo that i hadn't changed out of all summer.  and even if i wasn't as big of a fan of the cheese garlic fries as dan was, i very much enjoyed the big beer cups and party favors.  it was a great game, as the injury depleted yanks stormed back in the 8th...seemingly ready to win the game but mo blew it in the 9th....which eventually led to an extra inning loss...regardless, it was a great night...and we had to end it in ktown.  at second floor of the third floor building.

Lyle Overbay's two-out, two-run single capped a six-run rally in the seventh that put the Yankees ahead 8-7. Down 7-2, New York broke loose against starter Jake Peavy and relieversMatt Thornton and Junichi Tazawa.

The Red Sox rallied in the opener of a four-game series loaded with playoff implications. It felt like a playoff matchup, too, especially after New York erased a 7-2 deficit with six runs in the seventh.

Down to their very last strike, the Boston Red Sox struck back. And dentingMariano Rivera, well, that compounded the New York Yankees' misery.

no drink, no drive.  so i parked and slept for a few hours only to come back and see this...my car was relocated 5 blocks away.  WTF!  not funny.
