it's probably been a year since shanghai. taiwan is too small and has no global economy so taiwanese flee to shanghai to make money. it becomes a pocket of urban taiwanese as opposed to the taiwanese that are entrenched in factory life. the city has enough to offer, but if you had to give anyone a choice...taiwan is still better....
