yesterday was my first full filipino meal. i liked it. it was heavy. and it was tasty. i'd eat so much more of everything if i didn't care about my weight and moreso if my body wasn't so incapable of burning calories at resting. fried pork knuckles. coconut milk vege with shrimp. noodles. oxtail. chicken adobo. and sisig...some innards mix with egg on a sizzling plate that was so good it hurt to eat more than a few bites....glug glug glug. it's been a while since we had dinner with the girls so it was nice to catch up...on the same stories that we always talk about at dinner (breast fest, strippers, inner thigh, man is man, shamu).

"we'll give you a reduced price for 75% of the bottle"
"a 2010? they just pick the grapes this year?"
"i'll go as me and u go as u, my butler"

Just wanted to let you know that I LOVE YOU for going to my friend's restaurant. :D Next time, get sinigang. That's freaking awesome!!!
Oh, which reminds me - sisig contains the parts of a pig's head (ears, brain, snout, etc), liver, heart, and some other fun stuff. Glad you enjoyed food from my culture!!! :D
