your online persona counts for 50% of who you are in this day and age. if you were to meet someone who didn't have email or a screen name, how would you feel about that? i've posted on this before, gizmodo had an article on the importance of online persona. i'll dig that up when my internet isn't so shoddy. continuing, early millenia life necessities revolve around the second generation of the tech bubble, main streaming cyber lifestyle into accepted daily life to the point where one becomes fully dependent of it's facilitating abilities. take internet away from people these days and a good amount would feel crippled. now lets consider taking away the cell phone away....how would you feel about someone that doesn't own a cell phone? not to mention someone thats job revolves around the need to be in constant communication with his clients.
i could go on and on ranting and raving on the topic of dealing with this japanese guy that does not carry a cell phone, but that issue after a full days stress has been resolved and we've come out looking like pristine victors. now how do you deal with a boss that revolves his business so heavily on tight communication and relationships while relying on the mobile communication of half charged, half functioning cellular phone. other than the fact that his outward bound activies take him to the borders of zero bar service, the broken phone replacements that are chosen for backups are usually stripped versions of what an outdated phone ought to look like. we couldn't find the boss. we were stressed. we made out okay. but according to todays news, we still have a long week ahead.
i know u're reading. get a new phone =)....
auntie and uncle are back in town. we had chinese last night.
