long day's journey into the night...

long day's journey into night....was 3 hours and 45 minutes long.  i was two drinks in...running late to the theater...and didn't realize this was a play and not a musical until i got there....then proceeded to go through progressions of mental anguish as each monologue dragged into another monologue into a dark dim light play house where jessica lange went full manic morphine withdrawal....unleashing her full potential of a 'dated' classically-trained acting prowess

i was dying....and she just won a tony award yesterday...general zod was there as well...and gabriel byrne whom i remember most from enemy of the state....apparently also got critical reception...and i was still dying....but it finally ended...and so did the last of the season tickets....
