slowly, i break out of seeing life through the eyes of an american. and last nights education lesson over wine, of course, was the dutch pension system. very interesting. a country with 50M people. whining and complaining in their youth because of their 55% income tax but in the latter years...lauding the system for 80% of last paychecks income pension return. absolutely amazing. talk about sprouting right wings with your first breath of dutch air.
