i'd like to have all y'all know, that all my travels are budgeted, cost conscious (not necessarily cost saavy), ticket purchases.  so when i was deliriously upgraded to raffles class on my way to up to bangkok, i was delightfully dissappointed.  the most flattering part was that they chose me, amongst a sea of groggy morning travelers as the wellkempt passenger to be awarded the vanity of upgrade.  however, i've adjusted my lifestyle for the deadtimes of travel, transfering every minute of airtime into sleeptime.  so essentially, raffles class was a waste.  i had no food. no water. no extra service.  no extra glance at the much better looking stewardess' in a more priveledged cabin.  regardless, im going to dress up for flights every single time now...

while i casually don the untucked dress shirt and jean combo, my buddy jae, dresses up daily as the manager of McCAFE!!!



wahh laoo eh.  damnn happening at mcdonalds lah.  this is where singaporeans spend xmas eve talking cocking singing songing. 



not only have i been desperately mockingly trying to assimilate into the disgusting sounding singaporean singlish subculture, i have a hoard of sensei's willing to teach and guide at everyturn.  they explain the slangs of singlish quite well, only to have me realize, that this is exactly what me n will do anyways, "give a literal english translation of common chinese phrases...." (and add in a LAHHH at the end)

so i'm dying to use 2 lines...

1. WHERE GOT!! 哪里有？？
2. I SAY ALSO LAH.....我也這樣說...

i find it completely ridiculous that they say chaotic is pronounced CHAU-TICK.  all in all hilarious.
