apparently, in the tropical south east country of indonesia, abundant in natural resources, there are instances when fruit becomes a high priced scarce commodity.  and it is at these moments, where alice's husband will load up his backpack with singaporean imported fruits and cross the border back to jakarta.  and i quote "hey hubby, in any other instance, i'd call u mejican"  and in honor of her husband compounded with the fact that all californians crave mexican.  we had carb-free mexican.
