this sardine burrata mille-feuille was fantastic.  light crispy breadstick crackers between an umami bomb of sardine mellowed out by the creaminess of the cheese.


we love bresola


we wasted the first meal at a bourdain recommended joint, chock full of tourists and english speaking waiters living an italian stereotype while diners convinced themselves this is the best pasta they've ever had....don't go to roma sparita.


we googled a place nearby the vatican...and the truffle pasta....divine.
