my sunglasses are at the bottom of the bay

the 6am drive didn't seem so daunting until i actually got to LA.   probably cuz i was still drunk but i still had to take the wheel from skimm who veered onto a one way street the wrong way.  we made it back in under 2 hours and i passed out on sky's couch for a solid 3 hours before trekking back down the same way i came.  but this time to huntington beach.  we drove through the main beach town of row after row of house parties seeping in the the streets with blondes in stars and stripe bikini's and abercrombie surfers fisting beers along beer pong tables.  a scene u don't get to see in NY and a scene that scares the mid thirties crowd in the  car...but as it turns out, the gps led us to a nice quaint cove where the adults hang.  a secluded bay of houses partying with wine and lounge chairs and a food menu beyond burgers and dogs.  wendy's sister graced us with nice mediterranean spread of kebabs and hummus...it only took me an hour before i hit the whiskey.  a mighty fine july 4th weekend.

"oh you're that alex??  OH...u're not going anywhere....u're staying here with us....shots."

the house to our left was filled with california tweens bumping to em in their chiseled bodies and the house to our right was a 4 generation family gathering where their hunting pedigree offered us homemade boar sausage.  thanks to my hours on youtube, i had a lot of knowledge on the subject.  our house, chock full of taiwanese people had an empty backyard as all folk scampered inside for the AC desperately avoiding the sun.

i've never paddled boarded before.  but how hard could it be.  if only someone told me i was standing on it backwards.

i thought it'd be a good idea to go on the raft with a solo cup full of hennessy.  the hennessy went down real quick...just like my sunglasses to the bottom of the bay.

"i'm here to pick up my child..." - skp and betty left me alone for the day to play.  and picked me up after to find me drunk helping to clean up the house and three changes of dirty clothes in a bag.  hahahaha....so we got to get food before we went home.
