"you're from ny you should be able to take this cold" - i used to hear this line in korea all the time during -15C weather. but i just never remembered ny being that cold? maybe -5c worst case? but really i would remember 27F-32F as typical winter weather. because that neg 15C korean winter broke me. and this year...when i checked NY weather....at -15C....wtf was going on. the most snow since 1979 before i was born! and when i got home, all i did was sleep. kim continually sent me pictures of the boiler in our house breaking. so in a house with no heat, im not sure how they survived. i can't even think about it. tho the pics of mom standing next to the oven and eskimo outfits running around the house was sad....and funny at the same time. when i got home, there was snow on the ground. it snowed 2x that week. i shoveled snow as a work out and ended up throwing out my back. awesome.
i found my lacrosse gloves and timbs.
mom shovels in mink and sunglasses.
