MASSIVE HEADACHE

i don't know what it was...but the moment i landed in LA. i had a pounding headache...that sharp stabbing of a pain in the back of my head.  i thought maybe i was getting sick.  or maybe a lot of things.  my hands were swollen as well...and for the entire week i was popping pain killers like candy.  breakfast lunch and dinner...and in between.  and if i left home without it, i'd be asking people around me for it.  can't be a good thing.

"do you feel weird around me?  i felt like when we had dinner you were standoff ish...or is that how you are as a friend..hahaha"

"i was sick.  do you remember i had to ask you to bring painkillers and stomach meds to dinner.   i couldn't even drink, now that's when you know i wasn't feeling well."

"oh ok.  just making sure it wasn't anything else."

"other than having dinner with an ex??? yea...nothing else"

things couldn't get awkward...cuz i had my head buried in a binder.  1.5M startup for 4.7M gross annual just isn't worth it.  it's a specific investment for a marketing strategy to take your brand to the next stratosphere.  chinese thinking will almost never go that route....
