"i've learned more about Korea from you, than I have the past 2 weeks hanging out with Koreans"
what i really should do is start a VVIP host service for Americans or Chinese people visiting Korea. I live the foreigner perspective. and because I am long winded, I can notice the distinctions of culture and put them into a long winded analogy for anyone with a similar background as mine. and as i describe the idiosyncratic uptight korean nuances of everyday life, it also functions as a way of me coping with the situation that i deal with. minute by minute.
see that sign? it doesn't say elevator in korean. it says ael lei bei tuh.
