when you're in foreign countries that follow american trends...or better yet, foreign countries that yearn to master the engRish language, people who weren't born with english names find the need to name themselves at that specific junction where cool meets *laughter*....this could be at any age, be it ur teens for the "in" factor, be it your 20's for the "university applicant" factor, or even an elder state for business or sheer 2nd identity...but please all you foreigners, think carefully before choosing names like ....KITE, CLOCK, SPARKLE, MILK.........and of course the funniest one of them all is MOODY....i was fortunate enough to overhear will on the boat...
"hi my name is mooody"
"your name is WHAT?"
"mooooday"
"mooonie??"
"MOOODY..moooodd --"
"MOOOONNIE????"
"M-o-o-d-y"
"oOOhHHHH>..mooooody....???!?@?@!?@!#?"
in light of these name anomalies....i've decided i'd name my kid COUCH....or my puppy....although i think i'd name my puppy neo after janie's student....the frosty costumed kid....
i'm going to wear my UT Longhorns shirt out tonight....
