Ok...so I'm in taipei for the wknd....the food is awesome here!!!!

Friday- we land at 7pm
   * we had dan zhai mein for dinner with lots of side dishes...calamari, tofu, fried chicken wings, veggies

Sat
  * ding tai fong...the yummiest shanghai dumplings, aside from the ones in shanghai.    Realy good hot and sour soup too.

  * hot pot (yuen yang) the one that's half spicy half regular hot pot.   They cook it on coal!

  * we go out to a club and then end up at karaoke.  The food is reallly good there.  Beef noodles, spare ribs on rice, dumplings, a mixed platter of tofu, eggs, chinese sausage, and other stuff.

Sunday
<!--
D(["mb","
  * brunch at peter's.  Vanilla maple syrup challah french toast, eggs and bacon

  * japanese shabu shabu for dinner,  they take the soup and make congee out of it.

*night mkt with em and andrew.  Guavas, wax apples, stinky tofu and bubble tea

Monday

*beef noodles at this local place.  Be bump into one of the senior ladies that work in taiwan

  * afternoon tea w my aunt. Pseudo japanese style.  Pretty good tempura.

  * dinner at lawry's.  Prime rib.

  * evening snack.  Soy bean milk, this baked bread thing (shao bing), roll of rice (fan tuan), shanghai dumplings sOoooo gOOd.
