Ok...so I'm in taipei for the wknd....the food is awesome here!!!!
Friday- we land at 7pm
* we had dan zhai mein for dinner with lots of side dishes...calamari, tofu, fried chicken wings, veggies
Sat
* ding tai fong...the yummiest shanghai dumplings, aside from the ones in shanghai. Realy good hot and sour soup too.
* hot pot (yuen yang) the one that's half spicy half regular hot pot. They cook it on coal!
* we go out to a club and then end up at karaoke. The food is reallly good there. Beef noodles, spare ribs on rice, dumplings, a mixed platter of tofu, eggs, chinese sausage, and other stuff.

* brunch at peter's. Vanilla maple syrup challah french toast, eggs and bacon
* japanese shabu shabu for dinner, they take the soup and make congee out of it.
*night mkt with em and andrew. Guavas, wax apples, stinky tofu and bubble tea
Monday
*beef noodles at this local place. Be bump into one of the senior ladies that work in taiwan
* afternoon tea w my aunt. Pseudo japanese style. Pretty good tempura.
* dinner at lawry's. Prime rib.
* evening snack. Soy bean milk, this baked bread thing (shao bing), roll of rice (fan tuan), shanghai dumplings sOoooo gOOd.
