greenway del lago is a hiking train elevated alongside lake como that goes quite a ways...we probably did 8km from colonna to villa del balbianella...then got caught in a hail storm on the way back. but it was all worth it...cuz I AM QUEEN AMIDALA! we got to see villa balbianello...the place where star wars episode 2 was filmed. attack of the clones. and casino royale...where james bond retreats to after being held hostage.
in the movie they use a different facade...but the vantage views are the same. hehehehe!!!
and then there are the scenes from casino royale...
