Vice

i've spent a lot of time watching vice channel lately.  a strong shift in my interests in media.  a very adult thing to start moving away from fluff and into social problems of the world.  news.  events.  aid.  and in effect Social Accountability.  and as i was initially drawn to its independent arts and pop culture topics, ultimately, it's "immersion journalism is what i respect the most (the entire pakistan series is mind blowing).  so as for WERD magazine wanting to model itself as a new media outlet like VICE...godspeed cuz i'll be a follower.  hopefully a writer!
