The 2 posts in 2 days is a thing of the past.  Either the novelty of daily blogging has worn off, or the brain is just not working.  It probably just a seasonal shift.  Attention spans loom more towards activities and even Internet change of interests that generic blogs are of no interest to many people.  Which in return has made the workday go by even slower.  Il bring back a mishmash of topics covered in the past.

Instead of hitting up Wolfgang, my dad cancelled on me.  Good thing too, I was definitely not looking forward for a big hunk of meat bungying in my stomach.  I tried prepping by not eating most of the day and hitting the gym twice before 8 (I go during lunch), but  the plan backfired.  I ended up chomping on tons of pita and hummus after getting home from work.

OH yean a side note, I seem to have this annual hummus surge.  The adult version of Gerber was first introduced to me back in high school; that along with gefilte and whatever my fellow Sharon-ites were munching on at lunch.   Every year, and I think last year I think it was around the same time, where I just want to eat nothing but hummus and toasted wheat pita.  Odd? Not if youe closest friends ate nothing but cheese, beer and veggies.  Quite a way to live.   I all for vegetarians as long as you drink up!  Is vegetarian synonymous with tree-hugger?  If youe actively vegetarian, is there a good chance that youe obnoxiously right winged? And read up on everything the world has to offer?  (okay esther, this is not directed at you, but there definitely is a common trend).   The theory makes sense, and if I get enough comments about it, Il pursue my nobel peace prize in this area one day (I got a couple of other social science experiments to conduct: for instance ?www.xanga.com/omygawditswill.  I haven really figured out what the end result will be of him, but wee making progress).  TANGENTS?so back to hummus ?I crave itnd Ie destroyed 2 canisters in the past week.

Son Cubano ?personally, Hispanic  food is comfort food at its best.  Everything is some cheese and meat creation how could it not be good.  Rather than American who load up on the overall theme of garlic cheese and potatoes making all dishes ridiculously heavy, and almost bland after awhile due to American affinity to NaCl.  So Spanish food, comfort smorgasbord of spices meat cheese, I could eat this pretty much every night of the week.  Even when using seafood, the plate is quite delicate but again its depth of flavors makes it a great contrast.  When in doubt go Spanish.   THIS RESTAURANT IS NO GOOD.  Too loud, too hi chi?and the paella was just not up to par.  Maybe the fact that it right next door to lotus says something about it.  Spanish cuisine should stay out of meatpacking hahaha.  La paella has better paella.

At the next bbq ?im gonna try to make paella.

I more excited for guster/benfolds next week than prince.  Someone really needs to let me borrow some cd.  I gotta start listening to the hype, the sex symbol, the flaming hairy chested rockstar.

Ie read 6 articles on china in the past 2 daysnd can quite conjure up enough juice to write about any of itome on brainets get back to work!

Idjiot ?cooking rules yes.  Cleaning afterwards isn.

Bugout ?I really don understand what your comment is getting at.

Aegie ?eating excursions are open to anyone, anytimeahha..i sound like whore, lovin?it.

Purefun ?jeezntsy aren we?

hummus is excellent, one of the best things that came out of growing up in a jewish town with a jewish best friend... i joined israeli culture club in high school just for the food.
i'm a vegetarian.. well not really anymore, i've started to eat seafood in the past few months, for the protein... but for me it's not related to my political views at all... i just personally get grossed out by the idea of eating a dead animal. i like to recycle but i litter and smoke. maybe i'm just a hypocrite?
