Our generation has been lucky enough to grow up into the 2nd wave of a technology fury. Moving into the mid 80's, people no longer revelled at the newest breakthroughs in science application to common convenience. Maybe this happened even a few decades earlier, where technology was developing rapidly enough for people to not be phased by the smaller, newer and better things that came out.
Just a couple of decades ago, people stood in awe of space travel. Its hardly heard about today. The public is only concerned with space when satellites are related to faulty cell phones. The combination of everyday commercial flight along with Nasa disbanding the moon flight, the idea of "flying" has no longer captivated the average joe's creative hypothalamus. Today, personal entrepreneurs, (correction - private billionaires) finance their own competetive contests to one day popularize space tourism. Government funded space exploits are increasingly computerized giving the public no "news at 6" scurry to latch on to.

clinton new book is supposed to suck nuts?o:p>
In many ways, the book is a mirror of Mr. Clinton's presidency: lack of discipline leading to squandered opportunities; high expectations, undermined by self-indulgence and scattered concentration.
In fact, "My Life" reads like a messy pastiche of everything that Mr. Clinton ever remembered and wanted to set down in print; he even describes the time he got up at 4 a.m. to watch the inaugural ceremonies for Nigeria's new president on TV
People are just so enamored with celebrity status that theyl find anyway to delve into and embrace a stars life regardless of its mundane nature. In Bill case, it proves to be even a worse scenario, as people of political stature should demonstrate intellectual prowess, which this book doesn seem to have. Let me read it and Il contrast it alongside Hillary book, which was boring somewhat boring.

i've started writing my book - what a better place to write than typing away at work plus it doubles as a way to look super busy! hahahaha....not really sure where this book is going, but like all writers, you write of what you know...write of your life...and well...lets just say that a whole chapter has been devoted to hangovers...this will take a few years to finish but i'll post chapters from time to time...and to think...i used to hate english.
=)

will i appear in a few pages?
dont judge a book by its cover or... reviews!I actually read good reviews on his book few days ago, it's a thing to do for politicians now...
i would never want to read the self-righteous blabber of some politician trying to make an extra buck anyways... or maybe im just ignorant. as for your book! i'll buy it if you guarantee a lot of sex, drugs and rock and roll... hehe
i wanna go back to my writings too. i've postponed it for way too long. it's like i have an endless amount of ideas...but i'm just too lazy to organize it into paper and words.
let me read some of yours...i'm glad to see that you're doing something you have a passion for. good shat! perhaps i'll reach that point soon too.
oohh, i wanna read your book~!
Your posting started out with, "Our generation has been lucky enough to grow up into the 2nd wave of a technology fury." You obviously are making an assumption about the inherent "good" of technology. As you know, I'm not some sort of new-age hippie but I can't say that I totally agree that all of technology has made life "better." Our lives are different but better is subjective.
If one could choose, do you think that they'd always choose a world surrounded by email, pagers, cell phones, internet, IM, xanga, airplanes, and java programming?
Are you writing your book for self-pleasure or in hopes of actually getting it published?
i going to write a children's book
"why it sucks to not be circumcised like the rest of the normal world"
