i got f*cked.

and over lunch, we laughed at me about it. and we ensued to f*ck alex thrice more by the same mollusk as a nice digestif to a hearty meal.

but in my defense, the mollusk effed himself but i don't know the full story.

and my advice from my fellow american before fishing out the full story.

"i can't believe i'm saying this...but, BE NICE"

isn't it nice? happy birthday!

"there goes ur commission =)"

my dad's secretary passed away monday night. mrs. rita bernagozzi. short, round, high haired, wobbly, awesome, generous, friendly, kind hearted, italian american and cooked a mean lasagna. she watched me grow up and regardless of the number of times i saw her per year, i would receive annual xmas and birthday gifts. she was with my dad for nearly 40 years and now she's gone. i'm sad. and i'm actually more sad over her passing than my grandfather's last month. i don't know why. maybe there was too much drama internally, or maybe i'm really worried for papa chin. pops is sad. he can't sleep. he can't eat. but he won't admit it. either way. we love you re re. rest in peace.
without all the mass media frenzy of department store sales, long weekend bbq parties, pool parties, beach getaways, fireworks, flags on front doors, i forgot it was american independence day. until i got this yahoo message....

"hey...you're american right?"
"yep"
"there's 20 of us heading to brewkerz for lunch"
"see u there"

in all honesty, i wasn't hungry. i was a bit woozy from the night prior and was looking for a pick-me-up drink. when i sat down at far end of 20 american oil guys, the hooplah had already ensued. beers n wings all around. then more beers n wings. i had a bloody mary to start and of course felt obligated for a beer. for the record, i have never ordered anything beyond salads and appetizers @ brewerkz for fear of food coma and the obesity that ensues. however, in this setting of bullish midwestern oil giants and the conversation of 'yellow fever', how could i be the lone 'boy' sans a heart attack meal? so i got another beer and ordered myself a chili dog. and when everyone paid the bill, there seemed to be an excess of 5XX dollars which of course went towards liver cerosis. WINE. WINE. WINE. WINE. WINE. WINE. WINE. WINE. 2 more left? WE'LL LIFT IT ALL. bullish americans.

Cause for Break-up:
We
were together for 2.5 years and I loved every second of it. I had an
opportunity to go abroad to London for two months and had to take it.
For some reason I thought that we should break up before I left. It was
only going to be two months I don’t know what I was thinking, we had an
amazing relationship and it ended because I became a little selfish, if
I could take it all back I would in a second.

The Sell:
She's
gorgeous and you would be lucky to even get her number at the bar. She
has an incredible personality and I would give anything to change what
happened. Your day just seems to get better when she is around. She is
special and should be treated like a princess

  Limp Noodle

Story About: Blake Barret

We
were together for about a year and things were pretty good for the most
part. I really cared about you but could not get past a few things,
although I did try. So at the beginning the intimacy was good, maybe a
7 out of 10. But we started going out more and there were nights when,
well you just could not step up to the plate. I didn’t really care at
the time, it was not too often and I just blamed it on the alcohol. But
after about 6 months I came to realize that it was not just the
alcohol, it was you. I cared about you and was willing to look past it.
Now since we are done I hear that you cheated on me, well I think it’s
about time to make your little limp noodle problem public. So here it
is everybody take a look, point and laugh if you want, I know I did!

"do you ever hang out with poor people?" - v.n.

on sunday night, louisa and i headed to mister johnny chiou's house for sunday bbq. no special reason nor celebration, just a hospitable host gathering his friends for sunday gluttony. but before i continue this story, master of the house- mister johnny chiou needs his own special introductory preface...

he's 100% taiwanese by genes and blood.alcohol.content yet his aggressively tanned skin and his adolescent years in jakarta create a schizophrenic chasm that makes him gravitate and bond with any people of indonesian affiliation. but being married to a singaporean and after giving up his taiwanese passport for singaporean citizenship, has added the 3rd dimension of singlish that seemingly flows through his mouth so eloquently, especially when he argues so strongly for his country of residence. let's also not forget his american accent (have no clue how that came about)...which is cause for my cousin to brilliantly deem him his sole "american friend". this chameleon lack of ethnic loyalty only acts as as a backdrop for he who embodies the acronym "OTT" (over the top). for purposes of this blog, all u need to know is..."if it ain't wagyu it ain't going on my $10k grill"

johnny cooked a feast. we started with gado gado made by imelda and eiffel's maid, then johnnys caramelized onion funky salad. then cumin/paprika lamb chops. then shredded carrot and roasted garlic spaghetti, then usda rib eye, then wagyu, then taiwanese braised pork belly w/RICE. then cupcakes and cherries. and as if we weren't full enough, we turned it up a notch with the wine and sparkling wine. if there's anyone who's a sucker for media marketing it's me. johnny is the walking "stuff" magazine lifestyle pusher..."hey, this wine is a no bullshit wine...really perfect for the next in the progression"...and i just sit there..wide-eyed in greedy anticipation. that's how the night went. if i disagreed with his choice in grape, then we just opened another after that.

my guesstimation is that the entire meal was 5,800 calories. the exact specification of the coal quality im trying to push out. ironic. so if u're looking to buy some coal. u might rather go for a meal @ johnny's.
