i've been told that i'm the only person to not like taiwanese food but things have gotten kind of out of hand lately....everyday, specifically every meal, has been a struggle to find something tasty to eat,  the few things here and there that did suit my tastebuds/cravings are not numerous enough where now i'm sick of those too, so even after a few weeks of eating just to eat....i've chosen to hit up the supermarket to end up boiling some nasty concotion of protein and fiber......i'm friggin turning vegetarian....grrr.....

honestly this place tastes like shit...met this lady who bought the rights to taiwan and china...i sat there in a quasi meeting (meeting meeting meeting) not wanting to converse anymore after the first bite of their food....afterall, it's all about quality products right? and the food sucks!....so i just sat there forcing myself to eat because she ordered it for me "IT'S FRESH.....AND FROM GERMANY....WE DON'T HAVE GARBAGE because it's all FRESH COOKED.....SHIPPED FROM GERMANY".....i just gave her a big time DUH-SMILE, and  shoved another bite of salty salty pasta and salty salty fried fish into my mouth...."MMM...DELICIOSO.."  -- (did i mention that i ran to the bathroom to spit it out afterwards??)

i'm no fob and i do need to make the effort to fully understand the missing gaps in my geographical fob-handicapped upbringing but as the elapsed time away from the states grows i fill in those missing gaps starting with what comes easiest to me....anything that might involve some hedonism.......

i'm back and recovered from the contracted cold (ehem miss hispanic).  It's kind of an odd idea [for me] to have few national leisure days throughout most of the year then celebrate a long 2 week ethnically regional time to reconnect with family and pay those respects to thy ancestors....and true to form as my story unfolds, the prodigal son has yet to turn the halfway point of his story towards penitence so instead.....frodo and his feet continue his adventures into the jungle....
