sometimes trading is political.  you take on a trade to develop a business.  or you take on a loss because the person above you says so.  when you have no choice, you sit on it and find the right way to play it.  u take the loss, you bite your lip and plan so it doesn't happen again.  then when there are other moments where you can show your grit and balls, and when you can subtly show your uncomfort for your unfortunate situation, you show it.  all thru a bet.  all thru a friendly wager.  all thru a pity 10 dollar throw back...that you don't take.

and it's off!!

self-righteous idealists who think for the good of the people in its most basic form without factoring the ebbs and flows of developed society drive me crazy.  people who drive themselves up a wall about human rights, euthanasia, child labor are radical extermists that help balance out capitalistic greed of the world,  however, why can't these people be smarter in pursuits to change society.  why can't they work within a system and pick and choose the times to be an extremist.  why can't they think thru the entire cause and effect of a peaceful demonstration?

hating bp is one thing.  wanting to save the environment is a good thing.  but boycotting your local bp gas stations only hurt your local businessmen.  these local gas stations have no control of the bigger company.  by boycotting them, you're just hurting your local community.  in fact, the margins on retail gas is nothing.  gas stations are known to make money off the adjoining mobile marts or service repair shops.  stop the foolishness!

i just saw knight and day this past weekend.  they start talking about things they wanna do someday...

and cruise replied....someday means never...so true.

funny how i don't really have "someday's" like normal people.

i love that big breasted voluptuous texas blonde who is dolled up with britney spears makeup and donned in all white with bedazzled denim jacket and the huge CC on her sunglasses. love'em chomping on their gum, escorted by flight crews, carrying an LV while dragging a puppy behind.  of course they sit in business class and they sit behind me.  while i get the old lady next to me.  sucks.

nobu sucks. other than the tribeca zipcode, the swagger and hype of the reknowned deniro joint has become a run down diner version of past success.  the woodsy tree interpretation decor along with the nouveaux japanese cuisine are now mainstream and things like jalapeno sashimi with ponzu and wagyu with chives and sesame oil or your humdrum fried rock shrimp are now made better by the newer, cheaper, younger, mainstream trendy local sushi restaurants.

i just came back from texas.  had sushi raku.  it was good.  just get the fish.  one big plate of sashimi.  extra uni (which they ran out of).  extra shrimp. extra otoro (which i'll get next time).  and anago!  pass on the yakitori.  and texas sized portions.  nice~
