its so nice to go back to blue again.  it's where i spent much of my college years and now that we know sunny...i don't mind living @ arang like the old days.  we still drinking beer and still drinking soju.  this time we're ordering actual food rather than throwing stale popcorn at each other.  chung and annie came by and it's the first time i'm seeing either of them in forever.  which also prompted the conversation "a tulip is strong flower.  you're more like an orchid.  expensive.  fragile.  hard to take care of.  but stunning".  to be prompted into an alex bashing session means that you're close to me and know me well.  by being that you know me you're able to sit me down and tell me "i know the exact path you're going down. cuz i went through it.  why do you think i started hanging out with you guys?"

what is your greatest weakness and why?  not aggressive enough.  too nice.  this goes across all facets of my life.  im making an active effort to be more vocal about what i want and when i want it.  and be actively aggressive about it.  to let people know how i feel. what im thinking.  and just be better at communication.  i think i get taken advantage of because i make assumptions that people will do the right thing accordingly without me saying anything.  but that's not always the case.  and it's really just my fault.

i'm sick and i've been out since monday.  that's cuz i work sunday nights and it's a ritual to destroy myself on monday night. and somehow i ended up drinking yuzu high's in midtown...

it took me 10 years. but i guess i finally understand why my friends gf's hate me.  i always thought that me not slutting around would negate the fact of me meeting and hanging out with a million and one chicks. however, i've come to realize that my social prowess lures their men into a web of senseless temptation that essentially lies on my shoulders....at least i finally got it.  better late than never?

le cirque ellu bee is the name of my new club.  we need another asian club in nyc or in vegas.  it's definitely going to be a losing venture.  "you could never make money, you couldn't kick him out"...dinner was great.  that was our conversation.  along with bashing on me for my scarf. my ring. my gym bag.  my choice in women.  (its harsh not being acknowledged)...the papardelle pasta was great.  squid ink pasta tasted a lil funk.  proteins were ok.  overall good food though.  but the company was better.

when i'm gone for weeks at a time it's just in my dna to seamlessly slip back into hometown life cuz no matter how tired i am. i get bored at home and need company.  arguably spreading myself to a medium level across everyone.  and so i went to arang for dinner.  i learned the phrase "noon chi ba luh".  hoan frank jenn and john showed up.  "u look like brooke burke".  and then we went to travertine downstairs.  good space. good music.

i like my friends.  i like my interests.  i like ktown.  and because of this, i've lately been accused of having no evolution. i'll come back to this at a later post.

The true wealth of a nation is constituted not by the wealth of gold in the treasury or the money in people's pockets but rather it is the number of pots and pans produced by the country. - ADAM SMITH.  WEALTH OF NATIONS.

do you prefer cast iron frying or deep fryer frying?  and do you just use vegetable oil?  how many people actually "build" their fat?

Eugene's in atlanta = cast iron w bacon grease. ham hock.  peanut oil.

i just take it up one notch by going to ktown at least 4x a week.  and on this particular saturday night, we went to baden in pal park.  it was a dungeon of johnny walker with delicious ribs and tong dak.  it was the same group of people when i first started going to ktown in the late 90s cept now, they're ALL MARRIED!  michelle hong is a mom! hannah so will never live down punching a girl in the nose and she'll probably be singing change and seojiwon for the next 5 decades. @ juliana's and JJ's we were ordering 2 bottles and fruit anjoo for 100 a person.  today....we're still shoving bottles of johnny down each other throats cept now we're drinking milk to coat our stomachs.  dan will forever be in his element of one man, one mic dancing and rapping at the screen.  ha! the baden nrb rooms don't have a tv.  it's a projector with a white wall. what were we doing in jersey on a saturday!

2 hours of jersey nrb wasn't enough so we hit up ktown nrb @ chorus.  happy bday to kevanna.  and wow the bartender was hot.  and wow the carbombs were cheap.
